Beat The Salary Cap:
Beating the salary cap can be frustrating with created characters. Instead, go to the roster for your favorite team, find the third string position player, then just edit his name, stats, and appearance. By doing this, your player will be rated 100 overall, but still be paid a very low salary.

Easy Crib Credits in Franchise Mode:
To get lots of crib credits in Franchise mode without playing most of the games to one of the games on your schedule,click start, and scroll down to gamecast live. When a screen comes up the has the field on it start the simulator. When it gets to the fourth quarter, press start then go to jump in.choose your team then finish the game. Everything that happened in the game you will get credits for.
Easy Jukes:
Use the Right Analog-stick to juke Move it to the left for a left juke, right for a right juke, up for a stutter step, and down for a 'stop short' move.
Easy sack:
Turn off all penalties, then get right next to the QB when you play defense. When he hikes, sack him, or wait until he drops back to get more sack yards. This is also an easy way to win the game (assuming that you score at least once and you don't screw up the sack technique somehow).

The Ultimate Salary Cap:
I happened upon this method while negotiating a contract and it IS the Ultimate Salary Cap method.
Start a game by going to Roster Manager and then Team Roster. After you have chosen your team take any players you choose to have on your team and place them in the Free Agent Pool. Begin your season. Before you play a pre-season game go to the Free Agent Pool and find the players you released. Begin negotiating with any player you choose and place these figures in the OFFER BOX:
SALARY= 65.54m
CONTRACT = Balanced
BONUS = N/A
LENGTH = 1
Press start and the player will "accept your generous offer." Now go to your team and re-negotiate with that player. You will find that he is asking for a shockingly low salary. Pull the right trigger to match his offer. Now the interest bar will not show up in the OFFER BOX . Don�t worry. On the Salary line enter 10k and on the Contract line enter Back Load. These are required in order for this method to work. Figures on the BONUS and LENGTH lines will vary according to what the player is requesting in the PLAYER WANTS box. I have created a table that allows you to put in the correct figures in the OFFER BOX based on what the player is asking for. If you enter these correctly, your player�s salary will range from 0k-1k per year and your total salary (if you choose to do this with all of your players) will range from 8k to 12k. Your cap limit will increase to around 80m-84m. The table is as follows:

If you did this method correctly, the interest bar will move to approximately 75% and the player will always accept your offer. This will work with every player on every roster. Remember to begin doing this during pre-season. Once your Cap limit is 66m or above, then you can go to regular season and repeat this. Enjoy.
